My name is Peter Maiden, and my freelance business is Maidenfoto. I was trained at a leading studio in San Jose in the art of traditional wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah and party photography. I like the traditional poses. I am also an experienced photojournalist, who has worked with the Corbis stock agency, been published by the Associated Press, and worked for ten years as a South Bay stringer for the Jewish Bulletin of Northern California. I am ready to catch the spontaneous moments couples and families like to see. I try to be unobtrusive, sometimesmaking quiet suggestions for poses to make the pictures the prettiest they can be. If what you want is a certain picture, or a picture taken a certain way, I will take care of it for you. I use a full kit of Nikon professional digital equipment, including lenses for available light, telephotos, wide angles, macro and fisheye.
